HDR photography stands for High Dynamic Range photography and this is my vert first HDR image
This was taken in a small chiesa in Roma, i had the whole place to myself and knew it was perfect
to try out some HDR techniques for the first time.
HDR is a technique used to capture light in a way that what would be impossible with just
one exposure.
2, 3, or more pictures are taken at different levels of light exposure to capture the
varying levels of detail in objects close to the camera, and also objects at a distance.
Overexposure will give detail in the near objects and light the foreground while underexposed
photos allow detail to be captured in the sky, clouds, ocean, background.
Photos are taken in sequence of the same subject and then are blended together to create stunning
unrealistic but yet fantastic looking photos. What better place to play than ROME?
More to come soon, ill be in Siena and Chinque Terre this week....
wish i could upload the 3 photos that made this to explain it better but im out of room on my blog and just squeezed this photo in
