These pictures are mostly from a small town in Toscana called La Verna, Its the famous place where San Francesco was said to have received his stigmata, and also it is said that Christ manifested himself to St Francis ever day at La Verna. St. Francis lived some time in La Verna and also in Assisi where he is is know from. La Verna, the monastery and the basilica are all really powerful places. A group of us got to go there for the day, we hiked up the mountain and meditated it was pretty awesome.
